Prescription refills for patients in Arizona

Running out of a maintenance medicine before you can see your doctor is one of the most common reasons patients in Arizona ask for online care. Tell a clinician licensed in Arizona what you take, the dose and your pharmacy, and they decide whether a refill is appropriate.

Every clinician who reviews a Arizona request holds an active license issued by the Arizona Medical Board or the Arizona State Board of Nursing, and your request is only routed to a clinician licensed in Arizona.

If a prescription is appropriate, it is sent electronically to the Arizona pharmacy you choose, whether that is a chain, a supermarket pharmacy or an independent near you. Medication is billed by the pharmacy, not by Plunge Care.

Care is available today in Texas, Florida, Arizona, New Mexico, Maryland and New York. Your request is only routed to a clinician licensed in the state you are in.

    What can be refilled

Many maintenance medications can be refilled after a provider review of your history. Some medications — particularly controlled substances — may require additional steps or an in-person visit, which your provider will explain.

Not for emergencies. Plunge Care is not for emergencies. If you're experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.

Clinician-led decisions. All treatment decisions are made by the reviewing licensed provider. Plunge Care does not guarantee any specific prescription or outcome.

    What to include

If it is, the prescription is sent electronically to the Arizona pharmacy you choose. We do not refill DEA-controlled substances, and a clinician can decline a request that needs an in-person visit or lab work first. A declined request is not charged.

$65 total, paid once when you submit and captured only when a clinician accepts your request. That covers the licensed clinician review and, when appropriate, the prescription sent to your pharmacy. Medication cost is separate and billed by your pharmacy. There is no insurance requirement, no membership and no subscription.
