Overview
Acne is a common skin condition that occurs when hair follicles become clogged with oil and dead skin cells. Our providers can prescribe topical and oral treatments tailored to your acne type and severity.
Plunge Care connects you with licensed providers who can review your skin concerns and, when appropriate, prescribe acne treatment online. Submit your request, a licensed clinician reviews it, and an approved prescription is sent to your pharmacy.
Depending on your provider's review, options may include topical treatments and, in some cases, oral medications for acne. Your provider decides what's appropriate based on your history and the information you share.

Online acne requests work well for mild to moderate acne and for people continuing an existing routine. Your provider may request photos or more detail, or recommend an in-person dermatology visit for severe or cystic acne.
Not for emergencies. Plunge Care is not for emergencies. If you're experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
