Overview
Metronidazole is an antibiotic and antiprotozoal medication used to treat bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis, C. diff infections, dental infections, and various other bacterial and parasitic infections.

Metronidazole is effective against anaerobic bacteria and certain parasites. It is commonly prescribed for bacterial vaginosis, H. pylori (in combination), dental infections, and intra-abdominal infections.

Side Effects
